Haruka Abe is a Japanese-born actress based in London, United Kingdom.

 

Haruka recently shot "The knife that killed me",

a feature film due to be distributed theatrically

by Universal Pictures in spring 2013.

 

She recently completed filming Universal's feature

"47 Ronin"  in Budapest and London opposite

Keanu Reeves and Hiroyuki Sanada (Last Samurai),

and Richard Curtis's new romantic comedy

"About Time".

 

She plays principal regular roles in ITV's teen comedy

"My Phone Genie"  and BBC's cult sitcom  "Ideal"

 opposite Jonny Vegas and Janeane Garofalo.

 

Starring roles include BBC's Casualty, Tiger Aspect's

"The Things I Haven't Told You"  opposite

Andrew Lincoln (Walking Dead), and SciFi "Slingers " opposite Sean Pertwee.

 

Haruka won Best Actress Award at the 2011

Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival for her performance in Yuki.
